As a network engineer, subnetting is a daily task and not something that you will learn just for the exam and forget. This is content is a must have and something I use everyday.
I think I've tried at least 10 different subnetting methods over the years. I had pretty much given up on mastering subnetting, resigning myself to the fact I'd never pick it up in any meaningfully quick way. Turns out I was wrong. Paul's method is both simple and quick, which makes it highly effective. I might not have given it a try were it not for Paul's book on the CompTIA Network+ (which I also highly recommend). Do yourself a favor and buy this book, learn subnetting quickly, and refresh with subnetting.org while you focus on more difficult CCNA topics like routing protocols and STP.
One of the more time consuming task of a Networking certification test is subnetting. Classful and classless IP addressing are all apart of networking. This lab book approaches subnetting from all angles. The more practice gained from these labs the more confident you will be during subnetting portions of a certification test.
As another reviewer mentioned, there are various methods to subnet. I have found this one to be the easiest of all! Once you get the hang of the method, you can quickly become a subnetting master, and never be stumped trying to subnet again. Highly recommended!
