I bought this when I first got married and needed to combine my California upbringing with my husband's desire for a Kosher household. I have a few other Kosher cookbooks but they are simply collecting dust. In the meantime, California Kosher has been used, marked up, highlighed and very very much appreciated! My oldest daughter has requested a copy for herself....actually she threatened to just take my copy when she leaves home.....so I am planning on buying a copy for each of my children.
Good book with wonderful recipes.
My new favorite! Great recipes and uses normal, healthy ingredients. You can cook everyday food with this! Highly recommend
I bought my original copy of California Kosher in the gift shop of a Catskills hotel more than twenty years ago. Because it was so well worn, I looked into a fresh copy and saw there was a 20th anniversary edition. The new edition keeps all the original recipes on the same pages. There is a section in front with new recipes that add ingredients that were not commonly used before such as quinoa. Love this cookbook!
I LLLOve this cookbook and it is my second go-to (first is Betty Crocker). It has Delicious chicken recipes, cakes, whatever. There was only one thing in there that wasn't scrumptious so far and I've used it a lot.
I love this cookbook I gave one to a friend.
